Clean renewable energy
 

During the years 2012 to 2014, a joint venture between ScottishPower Renewables and DONG Energy will construct the West of Duddon Sands Offshore Wind Farm, located approximately 15km off Walney Island, Cumbria, in the Irish Sea in the UK.

The project will comprise 108 wind turbines with a total capacity of 389MW. The construction work includes foundations, turbines, export and array cables, offshore substations and onshore connection to the grid.
