Visitors Day at Severn Power Station

Paul Flynn (pictured right) , Member of Parliament for Newport West, was among 150 people to attend a Visitors Day at Severn Power Station in Wales June 17-18. He was welcomed by station manager Kristian Kure, who took Mr Flynn on a personal tour of the new power station.

The Visitors Day was extremely popular, with tour parties setting out every 20 minutes throughout the day. Many commented afterwards about how clean the new power station is.

In addition to the tours, visitors could enjoy the free barbeque, entertainment from Matt the Magician and take part in a fun quiz about DONG Energy and Severn Power.
