December 2009: The site activities is currently at its peak with some 1,100 people at the site, and approximately 80% of the construction works completed. The construction work is progressing according to time-schedule.



View of the CCGT plant from the south east of the site from the existing coal fired power stations land.  The picture is dominated by the air cooled condenser (ACC) structure.  To the left of the ACC is Unit 20 (HRSG, gas turbine and steam turbine).  In the foreground the existing 132,000 Volt overhead lines can be seen which have been a challenge to work under during the construction period.
