Karcino Wind Farm is located close to the Baltic Sea and has a total capacity of 51MW. Karcino Wind Farm is the third and the largest DONG Energy wind project in Poland under operations to date. The other two wind farms are Lake Ostrowo and Karnice, which have been in operation since 2007 and 2009 respectively. Each wind farm has a capacity of 30MW.

More than 250 works have been done by children as a part of “The Green World” art competition. The competition was a part of the inauguration of the wind farm in May 2010. The works are very creative.
