On Monday 20 May, Sea Jack; the platform from which the foundations will be driven into the seabed was ready for its maiden voyage.

 
Sea Jack is ready for departure from Esbjerg Harbour on Monday 20 May 2008.

The first trip, the maiden voyage, is always exciting – and as expected, the first foundation was erected without any problems. Bjarne Haxgart, Erection Manager, is pleased with the first trip at open sea: ”It is always exciting to find out if all our prior calculations and expectations in fact hold water. Everything went really well – we are very pleased with these initial experiences”.
