Everyone was excited, vessels had been trimmed after the winter season, all turbine parts were ready at the port – the only thing missing was beautiful spring weather with a calm sea, a clear blue sky, and a bright sun. The fine weather arrived on 19 March 2009, and the first turbine was erected onto the world’s largest offshore wind farm.


The vessel Sea-Power hoists the rotor blades onto the turbine. Soon the first turbine is erected.
