The company logo has been painted on the accommodation module. The module is now ready for installation offshore.
Monopile and transition piece no 91, ie the last of these parts, were installed.
Here, the layer cake is gently handed over to M7 – Where they celebrated that all 91 monopiles and transitions pieces had been successfully mounted in the seabed.
A picture of the layer cake with a picture of Sea Jack together with an installed monopole and transition piece on top..
Cheers - alcohol-free champagne of course. There is a strict non-alcohol policy both onshore and offshore on the Horns Rev 2 project, but this does not mean that celebrations are banned.
Here, the 42km long subsea cable is seen while it is still rolled up at the cable laying vessel
.
Here, the subsea cable is run from the cable vessel to the transformer platform.

The Nexan fitters are ‘stripping’ the cable. This means that they remove yarn, metal sheathing, etc, as only the three phase conductors and the optical fibre are to be used on the platform.
