The turbines were mounted on top of a monopile foundation. The monopiles have a diameter of 5m, with overall lengths of up to 75m and seabed penetration depth of up to 50m. Scour protection of gravel and rock has been applied.

The turbine chosen for the project are the Siemens 3.6MW which has a rotor diameter of 107m and a maximum height above mean high water springs (MHWS) of 129m from tip to sea level. The turbines adhere to guidance from Royal Yachting Association with a minimum of 22m from lowest blade tip to sea level at mean high water springs.
