Handling of projects
All projects are handled according to the stage-gate model, DONG Energy Powers Project Model.
The project model
The objective of Powers Project Model is to ensure that the right decisions are made at the right time on the right basis and at the right level of responsibility. It generates uniform terminology and systematic leading to excellent project performance.
The projects follow a general overall organisational structure were roles and responsibility are unambiguously defined.
The Project Model consists of five phases. Each phase terminates in a decision gate with decision templates.
Each phase has a definite goal which is reached through a number of specified results compiled in a decision template.
Each decision gate has mandatory decision templates. The decision template includes a brief summary of the basis on which the decision must be made.

Quality management
To ensure a uniform quality at the right level, all projects in DONG Energy Power follows our quality management system PinQ.
PinQ is based on ISO 9001, has a process approach and has the project model as core process. PinQ is the “Best practice” from the project organisation and is continuous improved through regular audits and a close cooperation between line organisation and system management.
