Project Management Programme

We are a project-based company and at DONG Energy, project management is an actual career path. We have some of Denmark’s largest and most complex projects and for this reason it is important to us to ensure that we support our strategy now and in the future by means of a thoroughly prepared in-house project management training programme.

This training programme is aimed at both experienced project managers working with complex projects and employees who are interested in a project management career.

Our project management training programme consists of five basic modules:

  1. Managing and controlling the project task, 3 days
  2. Managing and controlling the project group, 4 days
  3. Managing projects in a chaotic environment, 4 days
  4. Your own management role, 2x2 days
  5. DONG Energy’s way of doing projects, 4 days

We also offer a number of additional courses. Courses that will support you in your project manager role.

 

Projects at DONG Energy

We divide projects into three categories – A, B and C, depending on complexity and resource requirements.

Regardless of the project size, we all work with the same DONG Energy project model. This ensures optimisation of the project processes and combines them in one shared model. This gives us a homogeneous terminology and a systematic and strong common project culture, making it easier for us to work across the group with countless, different projects.
