Equity gas
DONG Energy Exploration and Production is  a significant upstream player in the North Sea and with activities in other parts of the world as well. The production from Exploration and Production constitutes about  one fourth of the total gas portfolio in Energy Markets. 

Major gas sourcing partners
Energy Markets has a number of long term relationships with some of the major gas producers in Europe.

LNG
Energy Markets is capacity holder and co-owner of Gate LNG terminal currently under construction in Rotterdam harbour . It went into operations late 2011.
With our position in Gate and our gas transport and storage positions on the European continent we are well positioned to receive LNG. 

Sourcing from independent gas producers
Finally, Energy Markets sources gas from independent producers in the North Sea. Our activities are based on a partnership approach, and we offer a range of operational and management services in connection to the gas sourcing agreement.
