​The contract notice will specify what minimum requirements suppliers must meet to be pre-qualified for participation in a given tender process, cf. article 69 in Directive 2014/25/EU. The tender process will most often include a pre-qualification phase.

​Interested suppliers will inform DONG Energy that they wish to participate in the tender, which will be done by sending in an application for pre-qualification in accordance with the contract notice.

​Pre-qualification applications are assessed by DONG Energy in accordance with the requirements stated in the contract notice. Suppliers meeting these requirements become pre-qualified. However, DONG Energy might choose to set a ceiling on the number of pre-qualified suppliers.

Participants are invited to take part in negotiations.

DONG Energy uses the economically most advantageous offer as the criterion of allocation, based on specific evaluation criteria which most often include price and quality as well as a weighting of these, cf. article 82 in Directive 2014/25/EU.

DONG Energy publishes the contracts that have been awarded in the Official Journal of the European Union, cf. article 70 in Directive 2014/25/EU.
