In cooperation with LEGOLAND®, DONG Energy has built a large area in Miniland focusing on energy in our daily lives. In an interesting and educating way the area shows how energy is made.

The rig is a part of 'The energy in Denmark' which covers an area of 350 square meters. A total of 900,000 LEGO bricks has been used to build the entire area.

Moving Energy Forward

In the middle of Miniland, at an area half the size of a football field, you find the exhibition "The energy in Denmark. It is an interesting and educating experience for both children and their parents, where it is possible to follow the energy's amazing journey from the bottom of the sea to you and me. See solar-powered cars and boats from a future not so far way.

Did you know?

The natural gas from the Danish North Sea is being controlled and treated at Nybro Gas Treatment Plant before it is transported to the consumers. 38.400 LEGO® bricks were used to build Nybro Gas Treatment Plant, and it took 670 hours to build it.
