Three MW wind turbines is now standing tall at DONG Energy's test centre for offshore wind turbines south. The two first was erected in 2009 and the erection of the third was completed by September 2011.

The three wind turbines are located a few metres from shore at a water depth of approximately 2 metres. This gives good conditions for testing and optimising offshore wind turbines
