Wind turbine installation
The wind turbines are installed by special-purpose jack-up vessels with extendable legs that enable them to stand on the seabed and lift the wind turbine components safely into place.

The actual wind turbine installation includes lifting the two tower parts, the nacelle (generator house) and three blades. The SWP 3.6-120 wind turbines are supplied by Siemens. Each wind turbine has a capacity of 3.6MW
The nacelle will be mounted 81.6 metres above sea level. With a rotor diameter of 120 metres the total height of the wind turbine will be 141.6 metres to the tip of the blade.
