DONG Energy has chosen the Port of Grenaa as base for the Anholt Offshore Wind Farm project. The port will be used both in the construction phase and in connection with the following maintenance of the offshore wind farm.



The Port of Grenaa is situated very close to the Anholt Offshore Wind Farm and offers good inland connections by means of roads and rail, and Aarhus Airport (Tirstrup) is only 20km away.

The distance from the Port of Grenaa to Anholt Offshore Wind Farm is 20-42km (11-20 nautical miles), which corresponds to 30-60 minutes' journey time by service vessel.
