Turbines
The wind farm consists of 13 Siemens wind turbines, type SWT-2.3-93, each with a capacity of 2.3MW. The total output of the wind farm is 29.9MW.

Tower height is 80 metres and the rotor diameter is 93 metres.
Each wind turbine has a three bladed rotor (blades and hub) positioned in the front of the nacelle (up-wind). A nacelle is the ”house” on top of the wind turbine including components such as gearbox, transmission system and control electronics.
The rotor is connected to the main shaft. The main shaft transfers the rotation energy through the gearbox to the generator, which transforms the wind energy into clean electricity.
The wind turbines are designed for unmanned operation and are controlled and remote monitored around the clock, every day of the year by computer-based control systems.
In order to minimise non-operation and breakdowns in operation, the wind turbines are subjected to regular maintenance.
