Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark inaugurates Horns Rev 2
On 17 September, 30 kilometres from shore, on the accommodation platform in the North Sea with a view of 91 turbines, HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark will put Horns Rev 2 into operation together with Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Denmark, and Connie Hedegaard, Minister of Climate and Energy.
This is the end of 18 months of construction work at Horns Rev. All people involved in the project and invited guests can follow the ceremony on a big screen in Musikhuset (concert hall) in Esbjerg.
On 17 September 2009, HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Lars Lykke Rasmussen, Danish Prime Minister will land on the heliport on the substation to inaugurate Horns Rev 2.
After the inauguration ceremony, the party, which also includes Fritz H. Schur, Chairman of the DONG Energy Supervisory Board and Anders Eldrup, CEO, will fly back to the mainland to Musikhuset in Esbjerg, where the event with almost 300 guests will continue with speeches, lunch and a press conference.
