Fuel

We produce electricity and heat using several types of fuel, including:

• coal
• natural gas
• gas oil 
• fuel oil
• waste 
• biomass, such as straw, wood pellets, and wood

Coal is our primary fuel source, accounting for approx. 70% in 2007. Our thermal generation plants offers us some degree of flexibility to choose the most cost-efficient fuel source.
