Glitne and Enoch fields
Oil was discovered in 1995 on Glitne with production starting in the third quarter of 2001. Oil is produced from the Palaeocene reservoir at a depth of approximately 2,500 metres below sea level. The Glitne field is stand-alone, developed using a leased production and storage vessel. The oil is exported by shuttle tanker.
The Enoch field is located on the boundary between the Norwegian and the UK sectors of the North Sea. The oil is also found in the Palaeocene reservoir. Oil production began in the second quarter of 2007 and is transported via the Bcomplex to the United Kingdom.
