We currently distribute power to approximately 950,000 customers from three grids located in Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, and Northern Zealand. These grids consists of approximately 20,000 km of cable and overhead lines and approximately 10,000 transformer stations.

Distribution grid enhancements
DONG Energy is exploring ways to improve our power distribution grids, including replacing 3,600 km of overhead lines with underground cable in Northern Zealand. This project, scheduled for completion in 2010, is designed to protect the power supply from weather damage. We also plan to replace 345 km of overhead lines at our Copenhagen location.

At the same time, we are laying down fibre cables as well as we establish or upgrade outdoor lighting in both those markets.
