One of DONG Energy’s objectives is to supply energy to both present and future generations of energy customers. The development of renewable sources of energy is an important aspect of this objective, at the same time that DONG Energy makes a target-oriented effort to develop and optimize current production technology for the purpose of optimizing the utilization of our natural resources and limiting our environmental impact.

The company’s research and development activities are conducted in close interaction with research and development institutes, educational institutions, other companies and public authorities, both in Denmark and abroad. DONG Energy is involved in more than 50 Ph.D. projects within the company’s area of focus and the company’s experts often participate as guest lecturers at universities. Being at the cutting edge of technological developments is an important competitive parameter for DONG Energy and is instrumental in generating stimulating development opportunities for our employees.

Participating in international development projects
Our natural resources are scarce and the generation of energy pollutes the environment. Therefore, DONG Energy participates in a number of international development projects whose purpose is to optimize the utilization of our natural resources and to limit the impact on the environment.
