Our activities include:

• Power distribution to approximately 970,000 Danish power customers
• Natural gas distribution to approximately 122,000 of Danish natural gas distribution customers
• We are the largest provider of natural gas to end-user customers in Denmark, with 44% of the market. In 2007, we sold 2.5 billion cubic meter of gas in Denmark and 4.7 billion cubic meter outside the country
• Natural gas storage at our Stenlille facility
• Partnerships on climate with companies, municipalities and organisations
• Energy counselling for the private and public sector

DONG Energy has a total of some 300,000 gas customers and 1,100,000 electricity customers in North-western Europe.

Oil pipeline
We own and operate Denmark’s only oil pipeline, which transports oil and condensate from the Gorm E platform in the North Sea to the oil terminal in Fredericia for Danish oil producers. The pipeline is 330 km long a third of which is onshore.

These activities provide DONG Energy with regulated cash flows and allowed returns linked to the regulatory asset base and interest rate structures.

We continually work to improve efficiency and steady supply throughout our power grids, natural gas distribution network, and natural gas storage facility.
