Electronic management system supports our safety
One of Exploration & Production’s targets is to achieve good QHSE results within all activities. For that purpose, we use an electronic management system where we make demands on how Quality, Health, Safety and Environment aspects should be a natural part of all our activities. The management system is used by all our employees and is intended to reduce the number of mistakes and unwanted events on the basis of experience-based knowledge.

- Experience creates a precedence for safety
- Have a systematic approach and know the risks
Our experience creates a precedence for safety
Our experience concerning safety is gathered in an electronic management system forming the framework for the strategic and operational guide lines for safety. By reducing complexity and ensuring that we operate our business in a safe manner, we can also reduce the risk of mistakes and unwanted events.
Know the risks before they occur
As part of the electronic management system for QHSE, we also handle Business Security, Business Continuity, Risk Management and Technical Safety, that should altogether reduce the risk of accidents and wrong investments to a level that we find acceptable. We call this philosophy ”As Low as Reasonably Practicable”. These are fundamental principles that we comply with in our work.
The electronic management system contemplates a systematic approach to the tasks and helps us identify the risks in advance and the possibilities related to a project or a task.
“One of our major goals is to ensure high QHSE performance within our activities, not only today and tomorrow, but for all activities in the coming years, either as partner or operator”
Paul Ludvig Jørgensen, Director, Exploration & Production QHSE
