DONG Energy participates in 73 licences. Of these we are the operator in 26 licences.

Our operated licences cover the entire Exploration & Production value chain from exploration and appraisal activities over project development to production.

Four of our operated licences are in production.
DONG Energy has experience as operator within exploration, development and production. The operator of a field has the ultimate responsibility for the activities in a licence. DONG Energy is operator in 26  of the 73 licences in which we have interests.

Since 1997, DONG Energy has participated in Rushmore Reviews, which regularly compare drilling results from all over the world. More that 150 companies with activities in 70 countries participate in this benchmark survey. On the basis on the number of metres drilled per day and costs per metre, DONG Energy is in the top quartile.
