Generating and using energy poses major environmental challenges. At DONG Energy, we are ambitiously working to manage and reduce our environmental impact in such areas as:

• Investing in efficient energy utilisation technology at our power stations, such as using biomass and wind energy

• Advising customers on how to use energy safely and efficiently while minimising environmental impact
• Requiring every employee to demonstrate accountable and responsible environmental conduct

• Well-conceived planning, continual assessment, and improvement to ensure we minimise resource consumption and environmental impact
• Employee motivation through training and involvement in our environmental efforts — including jointly establishing goals with them

• Systematically recording and analysing environmental accidents, near-miss environmental incidents, and environmental observations so we can make necessary improvements
