Neighbours
As an energy company, our facilities often impact our surrounding neighbours. Our goal is to maintain good relations with our communities and so we always welcome feedback, queries, and even complaints so that we can try to be a better neighbour.
Other ways we try to keep communication open and to better respond to our community include:
Community meetings. We organise regular community meetings to discuss our environmental impact, inform about new initiatives, and encourage participants to ask questions.
Project-specific meetings. When planning new facilities, we always involve surrounding property owners, neighbours, and stakeholders as early in the process as possible through official consultations and informational community meetings.
Internet updates. When building or rebuilding a facility, we often will post project progress and upcoming phases on our website so the public can stay informed.
Compensation. If we cause damage or injury, we compensate the affected parties, usually through amicable negotiations.
