World demand for energy rises. Modern society is faced with the dual challenge of providing more energy while at the same time reducing our CO2 emissions. DONG Energy cannot singlehandedly ensure that the global energy supply undergoes the necessary change in the years ahead. We know that. But we hope we can help show the way. We know what we want to achieve, we have charted the course, set the goal for our journey, and the journey has begun. We call it Moving Energy Forward.
DONG Energy provides more energy by increasing oil and gas production. We are also bringing many new offshore wind turbines on stream. And we are converting our Danish power stations to more green generation through increased use of biomass.

We require a lot from you as a graduate. To be able to meet the challenges of a large and complex organisation we will provide you with a mentor. Your mentor is carefully selected within the organisation to help and support you during your graduate programme.
Each mentor/mentee relationship is confidential and individually planned. Most of our graduates meet with their mentor every month to discuss different challenges and development topics. The mentor is there to guide you and challenge you as well. The contents of your meetings with your mentor depends solely on your needs during the graduate programme.
You must be newly graduated with a Master’s Degree within your field and have delivered excellent results. It is a requirement that you have maximum 12 months of relevant professional experience and that you are fluent in spoken and written English.
As you will be joining a dynamic company with ambitious objectives and targets, it is important that you are able to adapt to a changing working environment.
You are eager to challenge your talents in order to become one of our future high potentials within one of our three career paths, i.e. management, project management or as a specialist.
Some of your key motivating factors are to be challenged daily on your personal and professional skills. About the programme
We offer 16 newly qualified graduates a place on our graduate programme. As a graduate, you complete a 24-month programme in which you either work in a particular business unit or complete a multidisciplinary programme in which you rotate between several business units. This gives you an opportunity to test your academic skills in connection with specific projects and issues in different parts of DONG Energy.
The programme is a structured training process in continuation of higher education and gives you practical experience while at the same time adding to the development of your academic and personal skills. The programme consists of a period of job rotation in which you work with either one or several business units across the organisation. In that way, the programme provides general knowledge of the entire organisation as well as knowledge of a specific business unit within DONG Energy.
The programme is individually planned to match your academic knowledge, skills and personal goals.
You attend courses and participate in team building and activities with the other graduates and get an opportunity to participate in courses that are specific to your personal graduate programme. You also get your own personal mentor who helps you with the challenges you will be facing.
Who are we looking for?
If you are a newly graduated engineer, geologist, business economist or the like with interests and skills within technology, finance or energy, our graduate programme can accelerate your learning and development. You must have the courage to be academically challenged and driven to explore your competences in a dynamic and innovative company.
