Why DONG Energy?
After I left the merchant navy, I longed to stand on firm ground again. I did that by coming here and I am thrilled to be part of this organisation. I will soon have worked here for 23 years.



Electrical theoretician with good contacts
I am a qualified operations manager from Odense. After I completed my education, I joined the merchant navy and worked on container ships and super tankers. During my studies, I learned a lot about electrical theory and I have a good understanding of electrical machinery, which is important in my job.

My work also puts me in contact with people outside our organisation and with authorities. That means you have to have good teamwork skills and be an outgoing person. Technical flair and calculation skills are also important because electrical theory is basically mathematics. And you need a great sense of accuracy, of course. Your work has to be precise – for safety reasons.
