Why DONG Energy?
I have good colleagues and a positive working environment. I am also going to be involved in building the turbines, so I am developing professionally all the time.



DONG Energy is responsible for some very big wind projects both in Denmark and abroad and the number of turbines is growing. I work in the Process Division, where we do all the calculations that precede the turbine set-up.

Calculating the best site
For instance, I work out the ideal location of the turbines and calculate the production volume we can expect. I assess whether we can comply with the noise-abatement rules and I calculate whether or not a project is worth investing in.
 
Engineer with a fondness for processes
I am a chemical engineer in applied chemistry have since studied to obtain a diploma in specialised computer studies. I joined DONG Energy in 2002. Initially, I performed process calculations for power stations, but  I was soon asked to work with wind turbines and this is what I have been doing ever since.
