Why DONG Energy?
It was a coincidence that I ended up at DONG Energy. But I think it is a very interesting place in rapid development. Good development opportunities were also on the cards.


 

Now I spend 80% of my time on other things than SAP
I work as a SAP consultant in finance and deal with internal and external financial reports. Our work is project-focused and the day I started my job, I embarked on two large projects after only half an hour. Now, 18 months later I am wearing two new hats: I am an applications manager, which means that I am responsible for some department systems, and a solutions architect, which means that I make solutions work across technologies and business units. The latter requires pragmatic abilities.

A lot of responsibility and influence on own tasks
I have a good boss, who lets me try the new ideas that I come up with. I appreciate that, and it helps me develop in the direction I want. At the same time, I appreciate the social environment – it has to work, and it does. There is a good mix of experienced and new people in the IT department.
