Why DONG Energy?
DONG Energy makes me feel appreciated and indispensable. They always show confidence in and support the choices I make.  That is very important to me. It is also a company with great flexibility. For example, I could choose myself whether I wanted to be based in Copenhagen or Skærbæk.

DONG Energy by pure chance
I work as a system developer in the IT department with control and surveillance of power plants. I joined DONG Energy just after I had completed my education as a bachelor in engineering in 2007. At a job fair I spoke to a project manager, who recommended that I contact his department manager. I did, and before long I had a job offer on my hands. I always thought that I would like to work in a large company. I like working for my department manager, who focuses on my development. 

My job is my hobby
The best thing is to achieve your goal and I like it when the pressure is on to succeed with something. Planning how to succeed with various tasks motivates me. It is more fun to go to work when an extra effort is required of you.
