We became a major sponsor of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk, Denmark, in 2001, but our relationship began with our donating 18 gas lamps designed by Erik Bagger for the museum’s park in 1999. The One Ton Less campaign

DONG Energy and LEGOLAND have built an energy section in Miniland showing miniature models of the entire energy chain in Denmark - historic, present and future. From oil rigs to solar driven boats.
International scientific congress on climate change
In March 2009 Copenhagen University will host an international scientific congress on global climate change. DONG Energy is a co-sponsor of the congress, which aim it is to assists in the preparation of the UN Climate conference (COP-15) in Copenhagen in December the same year.
