It is now one year since the official inauguration of Burbo Banks Wind Farm.

Dong Energy is pleased to report that the wind farm is performing well and no major incidents has been reported.
We are both in terms of working with Siemens Wind Power and the local community in Liverpool very pleased to be present. Dong Energy has sponsored some local events in the Wirral County and we intend to continue to sponsor events in the local community in order to maintain good relations with Liverpool.

This year we have amongst others sponsored Sefton Triathlon and Liverpool Taxi Drivers children in care outing
We have the past season been called by a number of citizens as to why all wind turbines are not in operation, but since August 1st this year all turbines have been in operation except for smaller outages that falls within normal failure rates.

As a Danish company we feel very welcome in the UK and are looking forward to continue work in Liverpool.
